Taking a Wee Bit of a Rest
Hello there,
Two years now I have been writing to you without taking a break, and I feel the need for a bit of a rest. You won’t mind, will you?
There is school to finish up and presents to wrap. My girl comes home from college this Saturday, and I hope to sip hot chocolate with her while we watch a sappy Christmas movie.
Then in a week our family will drive the 12 hours to visit my folks. I’ll watch my brother’s little girls play dress-up, and I need to kiss the sweet neck of my one-year-old niece. Dad will take me for coffee before anyone else is dressed, and my mouth waters for a piece of my mom’s homemade toffee.
Thank you so much for joining me here, as I share the little and big things God teaches me day by day. I appreciate your kind and encouraging comments along the way. Hasn’t God taught us some rich truths this year?
I won’t be away long –just a few weeks. Follow me on Facebook, and I’ll post some family pictures along the way.
I’ll see you again come the new year.
I pray we can find many quiet, peaceful moments to enjoy knowing Christ and to love on each other.
Much love to you!
Christy
